I've purchased a few of your kits and manuals and have always found them helpful. I write today to say THANK YOU!!! for the window regulator removal, repair, and replacement videos. Yesterday, during your sale, I bought both the general video and the 116 chassis specific video and found both to be educational. The videos gave me the confidence to pull the front right regulator on my car today. It was making noise but not moving. Turns out it was bent to the point where the gear teeth were not even touching anymore. I had a spare good regulator/motor from a scrapyard, and I installed it after a good cleaning and greasing. It works perfectly! The process went so smoothly, that I also pulled the front left and gave it a good cleaning and greasing as preventative maintenance. Now I have that old bent front regulator to practice on so I can learn to bend them back. I will likely need to bend back the rear right regulator; it works but shudders up and down. Additionally, you have highlighted a potential solution for my left rear regulator; it makes no noise at all when using either switch. I'll pull it and test the motor with direct 12v as you demonstrated. If it doesn't work, now I'm fully confident about buying a good used motor and replacing it. In the end, between parts and labor, your videos helped save me a conservative $2,000 by the time I'm done with the rear regulators! And before you know it I'll have all four windows working as good as new after living with just one power window for about a year. Keep up the great work Kent. Thanks again, Nicolas
