With the right instructions this is a beginner DIY job.
Is your 1978 to 1985 300SD or 1980 to 1985 240D, 300D, 300CD, 300TD starting up rough or not starting at all? Do you get a lot of smoke at startup?! The problem may be worn out glow plugs and excess carbon build up in the glow plug holes.
