MOST IMPORTANT STE[P when doing an engine physical exam. Applies to all gasoline Mercedes passenger car engines from the 1950's through the 1990's - Free extra video and supplies included.
Doing a compression test is one of the best ways to determine the internal health of your gas engine. This is a primary test for doing a physical examination. You want to do this on any old Benz before spending a lot of money to get the engine running right or before restoring your car. Some are reluctant to do this themselves, but it is not a difficult DIY job. With Kent's 30-minute instructional video and the extra free video, you can do this yourself with great personal satisfaction.
