Simply stated this is something you DO NOT want to do! Sometimes you might get away with it, especially if you get so much gas in the car it just won't run. Or if you get so little that it is of no consequence. But if you get the right ratio of diesel to gasoline the engine will run (often at reduced power) and it is possible to damage the engine internally. Kent shows an example in this video of one type of damage that can occur.
