1970 to 1975 D-Jetronic V8 Engine Compartment Premium Fuel Hose Replacement Kit

Kit does not include clamps for replacing short hoses on the fuel injectors. Correct German 7.5 I.D. 90 PSI Fuel Injection Hose ( 2 meters) and Stainless Steel HD Smooth Clamps (16).

These engine supply fuel hoses are critical to the well-being of your engine. I have seen too many rotten and deteriorating hoses on these D-Jet engines that could easily lead to an engine fire, and they just do not get replaced when they should. You will need to use your old hoses to cut the proper lengths needed during installation. You will need about 60 inches of hose to do all the hoses around the engine ( except the short hoses on the injectors) so you will receive extra in this kit for extra repairs. The new clamps are the correct ones to prevent damaging the new fuel hose. The 2 meters (cut to one meter each) of high-quality reinforced, high-pressure hose is the right diameter for the D-Jet hard fuel lines. ( do not use the cheap 5/16 inch hose you would purchase at most auto parts stores - it can not take the pressure).

SEVERE WARNING: This hose is NOT WARRANTED if it is subjected to old gasoline ( over 6 months old). Old gas with ethanol added is very destructive to rubber. Drain your tank and install NEW FUEL, and run the engine for a while to purge out all old fuel before installing this kit.

I also include some coiled wire that you can cut and use to places where the hose bends tightly or where you want to eliminate chafing.

The NEW stainless clamps we offer, fit very tight and do not collapse when tightened. DO NOT overtighten, as the hose is very tight -fitting as you can see in the picture below. It is best to place the clamp on the pipe (if you can) before pushing on the new hose.
