This is Kent's master kit for solving a number of transmission-related shifting problems. Please note it will not solve them all, particularly if your transmission is worn out. This kit includes a new vacuum modulator that will work on even those 722.3, 722.4 and 722.4  transmissions that have a red or green cap modulator, a complete pressure testing kit that will allow you to test modulation pressure while driving, and detailed video instructions. You will also be able to test full line or supply pressure as well as governor pressure ( separate video instructions included). PLEASE NOTE: This modulator will NOT work on the older 722.1 transmissions with the red top modulator.

100 PSI gauge with 50 psi rated braided fuel hose. This tester WILL NOT be adequate to test you full line pressure which could reach 190psi

Only black is currently available, but it will work in 722.3 and 722.4 transmissions. This is the easy-to-adjust upgraded version with the new style pin included.

9/2025 Update: Green and Red Modulators are NLA, and we have been informed that they will not be remanufactured. But, do not panic! You may have heard that you must replace your 1981 to 1995 transmission modulator with the correct color top.

Now to both determine the internal health and to prolong the life of these old transmissions. Full video instructions included. 50 psi limit. This will NOT test full 190 psi supply pressure. Bonus speed adjustment video included

Too much pressure and you will blow the seals. Too little pressure and you will wear out the clutch packs.  When installing a new vacuum modulator on your transmission, you most likely will need to adjust it. There are two ways to do this.
