If you have ever changed the fluid in a 4matic transfer case you will understand why Kent is so excited about his new custom pressure bottle. There is no more need to remove extra parts ( like the driveshaft on the W203 chassis) and there is no more need to guess how much you are putting into the case. Since you really need to flush it twice (to clean out the old fluid completely) you can probably save a couple of hours of work by using the bottle!!! Watch the video below and Kent will explain the process and how this pressure bottle can help.
Product Details
We only sell the pressure bottle with how-to video instructions. We do not sell the fluid. We recommend you only purchase Mercedes Benz fluid so you don't end up having to do it again. The fluid does vary between some models. Please contact your local dealer to obtain what you need. We recommend you purchase two liters so you can complete a "dual flush."
You can not believe how dirty this oil will look after just 80,000 miles! Remember - There is only a little over half and liter inside the case and there is no filter!
For transfer cases, we have designed this special rubber fitting to press into the bottom drain hole. It does not screw in. When the case is full you will need to remove this end quickly and start threading the drain plug back in before losing too much fluid. You will lose a small amount of fluid as we show in the instructional on-demand video. When filling differentials you can fill from the top plug ( see second video above ) and this rubber end fitting will just go right into the fill hole.
