Because it is so labor-intensive, this is a VERY expensive job if you have a shop do it. If you have the necessary tools and mechanical experience, you can likely save well over $ 1,000 by doing it yourself. With what we supply in the kit and the added bearing sleeve puller, you will need to purchase from Amazon. You can do this in your garage with good jack stands and quite a bit of muscle.

2007 to 2012 GL 320 / 350 GL450 GL550 Front Wheel Bearing - Sold Individually
This is what you call a "big hongking" wheel bearing. It weighs close to 4 lbs! Replacement is a very expensive repair if you have a shop do it, but if you are an intermediate DIY mechanic, you CAN do it yourself with the steering knuckle on the vehicle, if you have the right tools.
2007 to 2012 GL 320/350 GL450 GL550 Front Wheel Hub
Consider replacing the hub if it is severely rusted due to road salt. You may not be able to get the new bearing to fit correctly. Also, the inside splines do wear if the GL is driven hard or run off-road regularly.
