Take a very close look at the picture. These are all the gaskets and seals you will need to replace if you open up your 722.3 transmission that was produced from 1981 to 1990 for all 6 and 8-cylinder passenger cars that had a displacement of 3.0 liters or more. This will NOT WORK in the lighter 722.4 transmissions. It will not work in the later W124 with the M104 engine, nor will it work in the 400E or 500E. The latter 722.3 transmissions have some different seals in them.

NEW IN 2026! This reseal kit does include the two orings in the bottom of the K1 and K2 drums that are riveted in place. Many kits do not replace these, but we think it is a mistake. Every one of these drums that Kent has opened up recently has O-rings that are hard or broken. Kent has sourced high-heat Nitrile O-rings. We include just the O-rings. Kent's kit includes the basic tools and hardware needed to drill out the rivets and install countersunk sheet-metal screws, which can be purchased separately below.

722.3 ONLY Upgraded B2 Piston Replacement Kit
This will work on the 722.3 transmission BUT NOT the 722.4 smaller transmission found in some 1985 to 1995 models. The piston diameters are different. Also they made some modifications to beef up the 722.3 transmission for the Big V8 in the W140 chassis.
