Watch the video below to get a "feel" for what these can do. The M103 is notorious for fouling spark plugs - mainly due to oil getting by the hardened valve stem seals. This was a problem when these engines were new and only had 60,000 to 80,000 miles on them. Replacing the valve stem seals is the permanent solution, and as long as the engine has good compression, it will usually stop the oil burn. Until you fix it permanently, these will allow you to keep driving the car without removing and cleaning the plugs every few weeks.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We have found the very thin anti-corrosion plating flakes off over time with heat. It will not cause any damage. It is cosmetic, and unless you park the car with the hood open in the rain, corrosion is not an issue with these in the head. If you are concerned, you can use a propane torch and wire brush and burn it off before installing. When you remove them, blow down in the spark plug hole with compressed air first.
