For the past 20+ years, we have promoted H4 headlight upgrades for these old Mercedes. The original sealed beam headlight bulbs lacked light output, and we found them sometimes downright "sketchy" on dark roads, especially when deer were known to be present. We have always sold the Hella brand, but now they are getting very hard to obtain, and the price has gotten quite expensive. We figure they will be NLA soon.

So Kent went on the hunt for the best non-Hella bulbs he could find. A couple that he bought on eBay proved to be of poor build quality and lacked a wide beam in light output. After a few failed attempts, these are the best. Even though they are made in China, they are designed in the U.S. As you can see in the pictures below, the quality is very good for half the price, and the light output closely matches the Hella brand. Bulbs and rubber seals are included.
