These are high quality German brand filters. Since mose of these cars are not driven regularly Kent recommends an oil change every 5000 miles or 2 years whichever comes first ( using quality oil) and a fuel fitler change every 10,000 miles or 2 years whichever comes first. Why so soon you ask? Because when a car sits ( especially in a high moisture environment) moisture does get into the fuel and since most of these old fuel tanks are not that clean it is sure better to be safe than sorry. Kent has never seen fresh fuel hoses on all the old MFI Mercedes he has worked on over the years. They only seem to get changed when they start leaking. Leaking fuel hoses at the electric fuel pump is a fire hazard!
