1959 to 1972 6-cylinder Gas and 1986 to 1991 6-Cylinder Diesel MFI Injection Pump De-gunking and Flow Test Kit

This is the best way to determine if the expensive injection gas pump is going to work for old 6-cylinder gas diesel engines that have not run in years.

Watch the videos below to learn about the capabilities of this kit. Kent used it on his 6.3, which had sat outside and had not run in 19 years. It can do the same for your six-cylinder gas or diesel engine that uses a mechanical fuel injection pump that has the fitting connections shown in the YouTube videos.  This can ensure it is thoroughly cleaned and lubricated before starting the engine after long storage.

Kent explains how it works

You will get six clear hoses, each 12 inches long, attached to six small clear bottles to catch and measure flow.   NEVER USE GASOLINE to clean or test the pump in this manner. Kent prefers 80 percent carb cleaner and 20 percent automatic transmission fluid as a cleaning agent and a straight diesel fuel for testing.

The bottles are vented at the top lip to prevent pressure build-up. Attachment is via a push-on silicone tube and hose clamps as shown below. The included on-demand video instructions provide examples of how to use this kit.
