You attach these to your 200D, 220D, 240D, or 300D engine and turn the engine over with the starter motor for cleaning and testing. These can be used for various purposes. This is the best way to determine if the injection pump will perform properly for old 4- and 5-cylinder diesel engines that have not been run in years. It will also allow you to purge (clean out) old gummed-up injection pumps. And, finally, you can test for equal flow from the pump by measuring the quantities of fuel in each bottle. Watch the video below to understand what this kit can do and to ensure your injection pump is thoroughly cleaned and functioning on all five cylinders before starting the engine after long storage. NOTE: Vides shows the old version.

Product Details
You will get five special aluminum pipes with the correct fittings and seals on one end, five clear hoses, each 12 inches long, attached to zip ties, and five small clear bottles attached to catch and measure flow. Of course, if you have a four-cylinder engine, you will have a spare unit. NEVER USE GASOLINE to clean or test the pump in this manner. Kent prefers 80 percent carb cleaner and 20 percent automatic transmission fluid as a cleaning and straight diesel fuel for a testing agent.
The fittings are designed for easy installation and should only be tightened finger-tight. Remember, you are not doing a "pressure" test here. You are only doing a flow test. It is the o-ring that does the sealing. If the fitting still leaks fuel after tightening by hand, then you can apply a wrench only 1/8 turn. There is NO WARRANTY on these fittings if you over-tighten them with a wrench!
The included bottles serve two functions. 1. They catch the fuel and allow you to inspect what is coming out of your pump. 2. They allow you to measure equal flow. When you turn the engine over with the starter the bottles should fill up equally. If not, you have a problem with the pump ( possibly in the delivery valves).
