Included are instructions for testing the valve as well as removing and replacing it yourself. The valve is located at the back of the fuel injection pump. If working properly it will shut the fuel off inside the pump. If you engine is not shutting off or is very slow to do so, the problem could be this valve. Since it is controlled by vacuum it could also be a problem with your vacuum system. You will need a hand held vacuum pump and gauge to properly test your engine’s vacuum system as well as the valve.
