This will give you everything you will need ( except 12-volt power and cleaning fluid ) to bench clean and test your D-jetronic fuel injectors in your own garage or workshop once they are removed from the engine. Complete detailed video instructions are included on how to hook up the tester, perform individual injector tests, internally clean and even back flush each one, and how to interpret your results. Instructions on removing and reinstalling the injectors in your engine are NOT included, but you will find this is a very straightforward job (tips are included in the video below). In most cases, you should plan to replace the fuel hoses, seals, and internal filter screens. These parts are available separately (along with instructions). Tester specifications:

  • 1, 2, and 3-second pulse setting
  • Constant pulse setting
  • Input voltage 12 volts ( via car battery or booster pack )
  • Output voltage 5 volts at 3 amps (universal small injector fitting clips)

1970 to 1975 D-Jetronic V8 EFI Fuel Injector Tip and Housing Seals

To prevent intake air leaks, replace your aging tip seals and large body seals. You should always replace with new anytime you remove the injectors.

These are the critical seals that go on the D-jetronic fuel injectors. If they leak air, your engine with idle high, start poorly and run lean, which can damage the pistons. We recommend you replace these whenever you remove and replace the injectors.

Bosch D-Jectronic Fuel Injector Testing and Cleaning PARTIAL Kit

For 1970 to 1975, electronic fuel injectors. A pressure tank is required. See notes below. Full kit is available if desired.

With the required pressure tank you will be able to individually test and clean our D-jet fuel injectors. Along with a 12-volt power source, you will need I gallon of cleaning fluid as described in the instructions.

1970 to 1975 D-Jetronic V8 Engine Compartment Premium Fuel Hose Replacement Kit

Kit does not include clamps for replacing short hoses on the fuel injectors. Correct German 7.5 I.D. 90 PSI Fuel Injection Hose ( 2 meters) and Stainless Steel HD Smooth Clamps (16).

These engine supply fuel hoses are critical to the well-being of your engine. I have seen too many rotten and deteriorating hoses on these D-Jet engines that could easily lead to an engine fire, and they just do not get replaced when they should.
