Product Details

Why are these important?

For most U.S. V6 and V8 engines from 1998 to 2006 with mass air flow sensor at the back center of the engine.

WILL NOT FIT AMG ENGINES.

If you are removing your breather or valve covers to fix oil leaks, you WILL need these hoses. Due to age, you will most likely find two or more of these hoses hard to the touch. Impossible to remove without cutting. It is best to change them all when you are repairing oil leaks on your M112 or M113 engine. Kent includes his full, detailed video instructions, which will show you the easy way to replace these hoses. It will require the removal of your mass airflow sensor, and those instructions are included as well. We even include a small amount of silicone grease, which you will need to get these hoses back on easily. No one else includes that!!!

You cannot even squeeze most of these old hoses if you try.

INCLUDED FREE WITH HOSE KIT

You will need to remove the mass airflow sensor to complete the installation of these parts. Kent's video instructions include how to do this as well as how to replace the airflow sensor elbow seals (critical). Those can be purchased separately below.

The connector under the mass airflow connector is rubber and sometimes can be reused if still soft. If in doubt, you can purchase it separately below.

The three hard plastic couplings can normally be reused if you carefully cut the old hardened hoses off these connectors. We include three new ones with this kit just in case!

RECOMMENDATION: If you are replacing these hoses, you have to remove the mass airflow sensor. This gives you open access to replacing the engine breather hoses. You will most likely discover the two seals for the airflow elbow have deteriorated. This is a perfect time to replace those "forgotten" seals. To purchase see related products below.
