In this 16-minute video, Kent explains the two upgrades he made in early 2026 to his electronic fuel injector tester. This video is specific to the tester we sell on this website. See related products below.
Why do you need all this just to replace the vacuum hose at the front of the intake manifold? The manual says you have to remove the intake manifold from the engine.
In this 20-minute instructional video, Kent will demonstrate how to use our repair kit to replace the intake manifold control flap vacuum hose without having to remove the manifold. You must have the right tools and fitting in order to do this, or you will be frustrated beyond belief.
Yes, that is correct, these are OEM parts - not cheap aftermarket. These are the same parts on all 272 V6 and 273 V8 from 2006 to 2013. That is a few million cars that are now all aging, and many have not had these parts replaced.
Here is a preventative maintenance issue that hardly ever gets mentioned. I think some people believe electronic fuel injectors will last forever. I took an ML320 with 250K and decided to replace the injectors.
Since these engines run so well, some believe that the fuel injectors will last forever. If you have noticed your fuel economy is declining or your engine oil seems thin, then replace these injectors. Best to do it after 150K as a preventative measure to increase engine life.
Only three sets are available. This is one of the better aftermarket wire sets we have seen. Some of the wire lengths may be slightly different from Mercedes' original, but they install just fine with no excessive looping.
Many tool sets do not even have a 16mm or 18mm combination wrench, let alone ones that have a ratcheting box end. Mercedes never used 16mm or 18mm fasteners up until the late 1990's. Now they are everywhere - especially under the car.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a "made to order" kit that we assemble after purchase. Please allow 3 to 4 days before it will ship. Save $20 when you purchase these two kits together. Each can also be purchased separately. For a full description of each kit, click on the related products below.
In this short 3-minute video, Kent will show you a trick that few know about. You can get those tapered shaft ball joints ( like to find on tie rods and control rods) loose without damaging the rubber boot. It can be faster and less painful than using traditional methods.
FOR GENERATION 1 ABC ONLY! PLEASE open and read the first three related items listed below for a full description of this conversion kit. Kent includes all 8 of his very detailed video installation guides.
You will save $$ by purchasing the complete kit. Each item can be purchased separately in the related products below. Click on each one to learn the specifics of each product included here.

For E430, ML430, E500, E55. S500, CL500, and SL500 through 2003. Every M112 V8 I have worked on starts making front engine bearing noise around 90K to 100K. Almost like clockwork! This is a service you will want to perform whether you have had your Benz for a long time or just purchased one.
I call this the hidden and forgotten bushing. Why? Because you can not see it to inspect it, it hardly ever gets changed. When these bushings wear out you will feel "weird" movement in your rear end, especially going over rough ground.
It seems like you never needed a 16mm or 18mm wrench or socket until 1996. After the intro of the W210 things changed. This set of 3 quality U.S. made tools consists of an 18mm stubby combo, an 18mm deep 3/8 drive socket, and a 16mm short 3/8 drive socket.
Kent designed this set of tools to easily pry off the C-clip holding the fluid tank onto the power steering pump, AND to put it back on after replacement. This can be nearly impossible without these tools. The clip comes off and goes back on VERY HARD.
Quality aftermarket part. If over 80,000 miles, replace this part when you replace your serpentine belt. Kent's custom tensioner tool is available separately below to help make the install of this new tensioner a "snap."
